FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME
This tennis shoot with Symone was layered. As a former tennis player from Pittsburgh, she brought real discipline and authenticity to the court, not just posing, but embodying the sport. We didn’t just shoot it, we built the vision. I spent over 20 hours designing and constructing the look from scratch, weaving the tennis ball concept into a bold, sculptural statement piece that felt raw and powerful against the clay. This wasn’t just fashion or athletics, it was strength, integrity, and creativity meeting in one frame.
You know what made it even more special? The life exchange. I love how photography creates space for real conversations about life, culture, and the roads we did/didn’t get to take. Talking about how I didn’t make it to the NBA and how she didn’t go as far in tennis as she once dreamed hit different. We both understood that failure doesn’t break you, it refines you. It pushes you toward excellence in everything else you touch. The whole shoot felt bigger than what it was intended for... it was two competitors turned creators realizing that the losses shaped us to win in ways we never expected.
BEST OF ME
Me and Majorie locked in on a clean, timeless collab inspired by the Mya and Jay-Z “Best of Me” remix energy. It’s that early-2000s feeling where style, chemistry, and confidence did all the talking. No gimmicks, no noise. This set is about nostalgia done right and showing the best version of yourself with a little flirtatious love without forcing it.
QUEEN OF NEW YORK
This was a remix from the jump. The remix is always better than the original, you just need the right feature. After pouring resources and years trying to shoot this concept with a few different people, Nani embodied it completely. She understood the QUEEN of New York energy, that raw audio New York, 90s mixtape era where sound, style, and presence mattered. This shoot is a tribute to that era, memory layered over memory, analog wrapped in attitude, and proof that when the feature is right, the remix becomes the definitive version.
